BibTeX field: address

How to use the address field in BibTeX?

The address field is used to store the address of the publisher or the institution. There is no convention, but the full address including street name is rarely used. Usually, it is just the city or the city and the state. If the city is located outside of the United States, it is usually the name of the City and the country. Examples are listed below.
